Monday Movie: Log Driver’s Waltz

I nearly forgot to blog today with a Monday Movie. Funny how a sunny day leads to a day outside, away from the computer, walking along the waterfront with my ladies. What a load of memories that brought forth.

Which brings me to today’s film: “The Log Driver’s Wife” from the NFB.

You see, every young lad in Canada keeps himself active and useful by having a job; newspaperboy, parks and recreation goon… anything really. When I was young(er), I was a log driver. Many of us were. We were great dancers, too; slippery, fast on our feet.

I wasn’t one for long, though. After a while, I turned into a cartoon.
